RIMOWA — The Journey Begins
To coincide with the launch of their new brand identity, luxury luggage brand RIMOWA asked us to create a film which communicated the level of craft and precision they put into the production of their aluminium suitcases. Based in their incredible factory in Cologne, Germany, we developed a treatment which brought to life the journey of the case, from sheet material to fully formed product.

We wanted to build a sense of anticipation as the case comes together, increasing in energy as it nears completion — we put emphasis on the playful movements of the 5-axis robots (see if you can spot T-Rex!), slickness of the handcrafted finishing and fluidity of the case on the move.
