Adidas — Cool just got cooler
The brief for this came in the middle of a lockdown, when everything had ground to a complete halt — so it was unknown if we could actually start shooting. Luckily a couple of days into the project, the APA (Advertising Producers Association) released their first set of guidelines outlining how the UK commercial industry can get back to doing what we love in a safe way. It was clear that we needed to massively shake up how we’d normally approach a project — so many things weren't possible…
Despite its challenges, we arrived at a set of films that are probably better than if we had have done it in the old school way! We shot on iPhone 11 Pro + GoPro MAX 360, which could be remotely operated. This posed lots of limitations, but at the same time offered us more freedom of movement and energy, as well as playful array of perspectives, which fitted perfectly with the concept.
